MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – April 28, 2014 4:00 PM

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
Officer Charles Whiting (Chip) presented the Board of Selectmen with his resignation effective immediately. Chip stated that he is owed payroll for hours worked as a Detail Officer and is requesting a resolution within two weeks. Steve asked Chip for the amount due and Chip was not able to state an amount. Eric requested that Chip create a spreadsheet showing all the details.
Ed was given authorization to purchase a new hot water heater to be installed at the Department of Public Works.
The expected arrival date of the new grader is June 17th.
The Board of Selectmen voted unanimously to allow Motorola Solutions to install outdoor radio equipment that will provide improved 800MHz radio coverage for Massachusetts State Police users in the area.
Phil Grannan updated the board on TIF, AED grants and a STRAP grant that he is assisting on with the Town of Sandisfield.
